Doorstep Banking Services From Nationalised Banks: How To Register?
While doorstep banking services have been around for a while now, the coronavirus pandemic pushed demand for the home-based services among businesses. To keep financial services easily accessible and hassle-free, state-owned banks also offer Door Step Banking services with easy registration methods.
Recently, the two major public-sector banks in the country- SBI and PNB- have notified of these services and their registration options to customers via their Twitter handles.

PSU Doorstep Banking Services
Bank offers Doorstep Banking Services to its customers (Individual/Corporate) for pick up of cash from their premises/offices where proper KYC procedures have been followed. Customers have to just fill in the enrolment form and execute an agreement with its branch to avail the facility.
The cash is picked-up within normal business hours of the Bank. Complimentary pickup of cheques/instruments is allowed, along with cash pick-up.
Door Step Banking (DSB) agents in 100 major Centers across the country for offering different financial as well as non-financial services facilitate these services.

How to register for PNB doorstep banking?
If you are a customer of one of the above-mentioned banks who has completed KYC procedures, to register for doorstep banking you can call toll-free numbers:

Note that registration of mobile number with the bank account is a must to avail these services.

On thethe Doorstep Banking App, login and select your bank. The app will ask for account details and an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for validation.
Once the OTP has been validated, the app will display Bank Name, Account No. (masked), Name, A/c Type, and Branch Name.
Upon verification, select the service request you wish to place along with the number of instruments and address for pick up.
The app allows you to choose from branches within a 10 km radius and also the preferred time slot for the agent to pick/deliver the instrument.
Note that the service is not free of cost. Your bank will deduct the amount for the service from your bank account.
