E-Shram Card- Benefits, Eligibility, Documents and Registration Process

The Government of India launched the e-Shram Yojana to provide social security to workers in unorganised sectors. The government also launched the e-Shram portal for workers in unorganised sectors. The goal of the e-Shram portal is to collect a database of unorganised workers in order to provide them with the benefits of various government schemes.

The Ministry of Labor and Employment launched the E-Shram Portal on August 26. The government provides workers with cash assistance as well as other benefits under this plan. This scheme also includes the benefit of Worker's Compensation. Before using the E-Shram Yojana, the beneficiary must register on the official website (E-Shram Portal Registration). This scheme is open to all residents, including ordinary residents, students, and low-income families, in addition to labourers.
