EPF Interest- How to Check EPF Interest Credit Status?

The Employer's Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) process crediting interest to employee provident fund (EPF) accounts. Both the EPFO and the Finance Ministry have frequently informed beneficiaries that their interest is being credited in full and that there would be no loss; nevertheless, subscribers can also check to see if their interest is being credited.

  • The passbook will contain the items that have been reconciled at EPFO field offices.
  • The Exempted Establishment Members / Settled Members / InOperative Members will not be allowed to use the Passbook feature.

How to check EPF balance through EPFO portal?

Select "Member Passbook" from the EPFO website's employee area. By entering your UAN and password, you may gain access to the PF passbook. Employee and employer contributions, as well as opening and closing balances, will be reported. The sum of any PF transfers, as well as the amount of PF interest generated, will be shown. The EPF balance may also be seen with a passbook.

How to check EPF balance using the UMANG app?

Subscribers may now check their PF balance from home using the UMANG application.

Step 1: Download and install the Umang app.

Step 2: Signup with your cell phone number.

Step 3: Choose "EPFO" from the drop-down menu.

Step 5: Once you've entered your UAN, click Obtain OTP.

Step 6: Click the "Login" button.

How to check EPF balance via missed call?

If you have an account on the UAN website, you may get the information by dialling 011-22901406 from your registered mobile phone. Verify that your bank account information, Aadhar, and PAN have all been entered into your UAN. You may even request that your employer plant them for you which is a no cost service.
