EPF Nomination- How to Add New Nomination in EPF Account Online?

The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) developed the e-nomination service for its members in order to make changing nominee data easier. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has requested that nominations be included in EPF accounts. If a nominee is not nominated to an EPF account, the account holder may be denied access to EPFO's numerous advantages. Account holders can add the nominee's name and other data online at the EPFO's official website. Here's how to add a new nomination in your epf account online.

How to add a new nomination in EPF online?

• Log in to the UAN EPFO website.
• Choose the Manage and e nomination tab.
• Select Yes in accordance with the family declaration.
• Enter your nomination information within the Add family details area.
• Provide the nominee's Aadhar Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Relationship with the member, Address, Bank data (include Bank IFSC Code and nominee account number).
• If you just want to add one nomination, use the Add row option, otherwise choose the Save family data option.
• Enter the share
• Click on save EPF Nomination and the details will be successfully stored.
• To generate an OTP, click E-Sign.
• Submit the OTP provided to the Aadhaar-linked number.

How to change e-Nomination?

• If a member wants to change his nomination, he can do so at any moment.
• He must file a new nomination and e-sign it. The already e-signed nomination cannot be edited.
• The e-signing of the new nomination will replace the previous nomination with the new one.
• If a member who submitted candidature as unmarried later marries, the prior nomination becomes null and void. After marriage, he must file a new nomination.
• Members should endeavour to update the nomination if there is a change in family, such as the birth of a new child or the death of a nominated member in the family. This will assist the family in receiving their dues accurately.
