What is Jeevan Pramaan or Digital Life Certificate?
It is a digital life certificate required to be submitted by EPF members. The Aadhaar based digital document is generated for individual pensioners who are using their Aadhaar number and Biometrics.
How To Download Jeevan Pramaan or Digital Life Certificate?
-The EPS pensioners are required to login by providing their Pramaan ID at the official portal, ie https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/v1.0/ppouser/login
-Login using your Pramaan ID and confirmation code. Choose the option to generate OTP.
-Generate OTP, enter it and proceed.
-Select the option of digital life certificate and download it.
When Should EPS Pensioners Must Submit Their Life Certificate?
EPS pensioners are required to submit their life certificate once in every year. They have to submit the certificate within a year from then they last submitted the Jeevan Pramaan certificate.
How Jeevan Pramaan Certificate Is Different From Life Certificate Issued By Govt Offices?
Jeevan Pramaan Certificate does not require the person to present himself/herself personally before the Pension Disbursing Officer. Additionally, DLC does not have to be submitted physically to the Pension Disbursing Agency like bank, post office etc. Unlike the government issued certificates, DLC also has a unique ID called Pramaan-Id.
