The Employees' Provident Fund i-Grievance Management System (EPFiGMS) is an online complaint portal managed by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The portal enables EPF members, pensioners, employers, and exempted establishments to raise and resolve grievances related to PF accounts, pension matters, transfers, withdrawals, and other EPFO-related services.

How To Register An EPFO Grievance Online?
Eligible individuals can follow these steps to file an EPFO grievance online:
Step 1: Visit the official EPFiGMS portal and click on the "Register Grievance" option available on the homepage.
Step 2: Select the category applicable to you, such as PF Member, EPS Pensioner, Employer, or others.
Step 3: If you are an EPF member, EPS pensioner, or employer, enter your Universal Account Number (UAN) along with the captcha code and click on "Get Details." Your basic information, including your name, registered email ID, and mobile number, will appear automatically.
Step 4: Verify the displayed details and click on "Get OTP" to receive a One-Time Password on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP to complete mobile verification.
Step 6: Select the relevant PF account number under the personal details section to ensure the complaint is linked to the correct account.
Step 7: Choose the grievance category from the available options, such as:
•Final PF settlement
•Transfer and claims
•Pension-related issues
•KYC-related issues
•Delay in withdrawal
Step 8: Enter your grievance details clearly in the description box, mentioning all relevant information.
Step 9: Upload supporting documents such as claim receipts, bank passbook copies, screenshots, Aadhaar card, or PAN card to strengthen your complaint.
Step 10: Submit the grievance form. Once submitted, you will receive a unique grievance registration number, which should be saved carefully for future reference and tracking.

How To Check EPFO Grievance Status Online?
After filing a complaint, users can track the status of their grievance through the EPFiGMS portal by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official EPFiGMS portal.
Step 2: Click on the "View Status" option.
Step 3: Enter your grievance registration number along with your password or mobile details.
Step 4: Click on "Submit" to view the current status of your complaint.
If your grievance is not resolved within the usual timeframe of 15 to 30 days, the portal also provides an option to send a reminder to the EPFO authorities.
