Here's How You Can File Your EPFO e-Nomination Online Via UAN

To secure social security for their family/nominee, the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has invited its customers to submit for e-nomination using the Universal Account Number (UAN).

E-nomination, according to the EPFO, is necessary for online payment of PF, pension, and the Employees' Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) up to $7 lakh to qualified family members. Nominations can be amended at any time, according to the EPFO, but it is required after marriage.

Steps to follow to file e-Nomination with UAN:

Step 1: Visit the EPFO portal at epfindia.gov.in
Step 2: Select Services and click 'for employees'
Step 3: On ''for employees page, head to the "service" section and click on "member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)"
Step 4: Login using your UAN and the password
Step 5: Logon to the Manage tab and choose the option 'e-nomination'
Step 6: Enter details under the 'provide' tab and click save
Step 7: For family declaration click yes and then click on 'Add family details'
Step 8: This will give you the option to add nominee
Step 9: Choose 'Nomination details and click on save EPF/Employees Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) Nomination
Step 10: Click on 'e-sign' to generate the OTP and submit it on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
