Here's How You Can Set Up Multiple UPI IDs In Google Pay? Step-By-Step Guide
In the current digital age, transactions through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) have become common. It is secure, easy and reliable. In India, UPI has taken the lead and made significant progress toward promoting digital payment transactions in the past 2 years.
In times of high UPI network traffic, having multiple UPI IDs is beneficial. Hence, it becomes important to have multiple UPI IDs on UPI apps such as Google Pay. According to Google Pay, Users can link up to four UPI IDs to their bank accounts on Google Pay, and they can link multiple UPI IDs to the same bank. This is secured by Google Pay and reduces payment failure or delay.
Here is how you can set up an Multiple UPI IDs in Google Pay:
Step 1: One the Google Pay app on your Android or iOS device.
Step 2: Sign in, and then tap the profile image in the top-right corner of the Google Pay app.
Step 3: Select the bank account you wish to add a UPI ID for by tapping on Payment Methods.
Step 4: Select 'Manage UPI IDs' from the drop-down option
Step 5: To add, click on the "+" symbol next to the UPI ID you wish to create.
When you choose "Add Now," Google Pay will create an additional UPI ID on your behalf and send you an SMS in response.
