How To Activate International Transaction On SBI Debit Card?

If you're going overseas or on a business trip, you'll need a debit card from the bank that holds your account for the duration of your stay. While you can use your domestic debit card overseas, you will be charged an exorbitant fee if you take money from a foreign ATM or complete a transaction at a POS terminal.

International transactions will not be possible if you have an SBIClassic Debit card. Classic cards are exclusively intended for usage in the home. To use this function, update your classic card to a global card. The foreign transaction and limit on SBI debit cards vary by country. ATMs allow you to withdraw a maximum of Rs. 40,000 in foreign money.
