How To Unlock International Transactions with the YONO SBI App
Login to YONO SBI App: Use your MPIN or user ID and password to access your account.
Navigate to Service Request: Head to 'Quick Links' on the home page, and select 'Service Request.'
Choose ATM/Debit Card: Opt for 'ATM/Debit Card' and enter your Internet Banking Profile password. Click 'Submit.'
Manage Cards: After successful submission, choose 'Manage Cards.'
Activate International Usage: Select the desired account and debit card, go to 'Manage Usage,' and toggle to enable International usage.
Authentication: Confirm by entering the one-time OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Click 'Submit.'
Confirmation: A confirmation SMS will be sent upon successful activation.
Reviving e-commerce Transactions Via YONO SBI Or SMS Banking
Via YONO SBI:
Repeat the steps mentioned above till 'Manage Cards.'
Toggle to enable e-commerce transactions.
Authenticate with the one-time OTP.
Via SMS Banking:
Send SMS: Type "llll mmmm nnnn" (nnnn being the last four digits of your card) to 09223966666.
Alternatively, use onlinesbi.com following the path: e-services >> ATM card services >> ATM card limit >> channel >> usage change.
Contactless Transactions For Swift Payments:
On the SBI app, under 'Manage Cards,' follow the same process, toggling for 'Contactless (NFC) functionality' in step 6. Note that the per transaction limit for contactless transactions is Rs 5,000.
Online And Offline Methods
Activate SBI ATM/Debit Card via Internet Banking:
Visit www.onlinesbi.com.
Log in with your username and password.
Choose e-Services and then 'ATM card services.'
Select 'New ATM Card Activation.'
Choose the relevant account and enter the 16-digit ATM card number.
Confirm and receive a high-security password on your registered mobile.
Enter the password and confirm for activation.
Activate SBI Debit Card through ATM:
Visit the nearest ATM and insert your debit card.
Enter your 11-digit account number.
Confirm your registered mobile number.
Receive a one-time PIN for new ATM PIN generation.
Activate SBI Debit Card by SMS:
Send an SMS in the format "PIN SPACE last 4 digits of your debit card SPACE last 4 digits of your account number" to 567676. Use the received One-time PIN to create a new ATM PIN.
Activate SBI ATM/Debit Card via IVR:
Call customer care at 1800 11 2211/1800 425 3800 or 080-26599990. Follow the IVR prompts to generate a Green PIN and set a new ATM PIN.
Finalizing Activation through ATM:
Visit your nearest SBI ATM within two days of receiving the Green PIN or One Time Pin to generate a new ATM PIN. Follow the on-screen instructions for a successful activation.
Activate the SBI Debit Card using the YONO App:
Open and log in to the SBI YONO Application.
Tap 'More' on the top left and select 'Service Request.'
Choose 'ATM/Debit card Services.'
Enter your profile password.
Select 'ATM/Debit Card Activation.'
Enter your 16-digit ATM card number and click 'Next.'
Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
