Paytm Wallet Transit Card is a multipurpose card introduced by Paytm Payments Bank, the company's online banking service. The Paytm Wallet Transit Card was launched as part of an initiative to advance Digital India and move toward a "One Nation, One Card" system.

Paytm Wallet Transit Card linked to the Paytm Wallet can be used by the user for all transactions and is recognised at all of the country's metro stations. As mentioned earlier, it is a multipurpose transportation card that can be used for all transactions on public transportation, including buses, trains, and metros.

According to Paytm, without a Paytm Payments Bank account, the Paytm Wallet Transit Card cannot be activated. Customers do not need to open additional accounts in order to use the transit card; instead, they can simply top-up their wallet because the prepaid card is directly linked to the Paytm Wallet.

How to apply for the Paytm Wallet Transit Card on Paytm App?

Below are the steps for applying for and activating your Paytm Wallet Transit Card via the Paytm app on your smartphone:

Step 01: Open the Paytm app on your smartphone.

Step 02: Now, click on the Paytm Wallet Icon.S

Step 03: Scroll down to the Paytm Wallet Transit Card tab and click on the "Activate Now" button.

Step 04: An new Screen pop-up, Scroll to the bottom of the screen and hit the "Activate" button.

Step 05: Now, Enter your Paytm Payments Bank passcode.

Step 06: Then, tap on the Activate Now option.

Step 07: Now, your Paytm Wallet Transit Card is activated.
