How to Book LPG Cylinder for Cheaper Rates on Paytm and Amazon Pay?

The price of domestic LPG cylinders has risen dramatically in recent days. With the online service, booking a cylinder has never been easier. If you are eligible for a government LPG cylinder subsidy, the LPG cylinder dealer will credit your bank account within two working days. The government has introduced an Android-based mobile application that allows users to book an LPG refill, file complaints, view a supply history, and rate their distributors.

Paytm and Amazon are offering good deals and cashback on booking LPG using their apps.

How to book LPG Cylinder using Paytm App?

Customers of Bharat Gas, HP Gas, and Indane can take advantage of an ongoing offer on the Paytm app that can provide a monetary value of up to Rs 100. To use the Paytm app, one has to download and make sure that KYC is done.

Step 1: Open the Paytm App
Step 2: Click on the 'recharge and pay bills' section.
Step 3: Open the 'book a cylinder' option
Step 4: Enter your Consumer Number/Linked Mobile Number
Step 5: Select your gas agency (Bharat Gas, HP Gas, or Indane)
Step 6: Choose a payment option to book gas
Step 7: The amount to be paid is visible
Step 8: Apply promo code for Paytm gas booking.

Note: Keep checking for promo code as they keep changing it. Any amount from the scratch card will be transferred to your Paytm wallet within 24 hours.

It's worth mentioning that Paytm's bid comes with certain limitations. The first stipulation is that the cashback deal is only open to first-time buyers. Second, until March 31st, you can only reserve one cylinder. After making a purchase, you will receive a scratch card that must be checked within 7 days. The scratch card will expire if this is not done. Within 24 hours, the money you receive with your scratch card will be transferred to your Paytm wallet.

How to Book LPG on Amazon Pay?

Amazon is now offering a cashback on LPG cylinder purchases. Indian Oil announced in a tweet that if you buy an Indane LPG cylinder for the first time from Amazon, you'll get a Rs 50 cashback.

Amazon also accepts payments for Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP Gas 14.2 kg cylinders. You may use IVRS, SMS, or Whatsapp to make a payment for a new or current booking.

Step 1: Open the Amazon Pay app
Step 2: Click on the LPG cylinder
Step 3: Select your LPG provider
Step 4: Enter your mobile number that is registered with the LPG cylinder distributor

To pay for the cylinders, enter your LPG ID
Step 5: Make payment using the preferred method.

You can download a payment receipt for your LPG cylinder payment made on Amazon from the order information page at Your Orders. Please receive the physical bill from the LPG distributor from the distribution executive when the LPG cylinder is delivered.
