How to Claim for PF Withdrawal Online?

Individuals who want to withdraw their EPF should be aware that they can do so partially or completely. When a person retires or is out of work for more than two months, he or she is entitled to a full withdrawal. Partial EPF withdrawal is permitted in certain circumstances, such as medical expenses, marriage, home loan repayment, and so on. Fill out the EPF withdrawal form online to make a withdrawal claim. However, you can only use the online withdrawal claim facility if your Aadhaar number is valid.

How to apply for EPF Withdrawal Online

  • In the UAN Member Portal, enter your UAN and Password.
  • Select 'Online Services' from the top menu bar, then 'Claim (Form-31, 19,10C & 10D)' from the drop-down menu.
  • Now, enter last four digit of your bank account and then click on verify
  • Select 'Yes' to sign the undertaking certificate and proceed.
  • Choose the 'Proceed with Online Claim' option.
  • Choose 'PF Advance (Form 31)' to withdraw your funds online.
  • A new section of the form will appear, in which you must select the 'Purpose for which advance is required,' the required amount, and the employee's information.
  • Check the box for certification and then submit your application.
  • You may be required to submit scanned documents depending on the purpose for which you filled out the form.
  • Before funds are withdrawn from your EPF account and deposited into the bank account specified on the withdrawal form, your employer must approve your withdrawal request.
  • Your EPF-registered mobile number will receive an SMS notification and after processing, funds will be initiated into your account. Although the EPFO has not set a formal time limit, funds are usually credited within 15-20 days.

  • Go to the EPFO website.
  • Under the 'Our Services' tab, select 'For Employees' from the drop-down list.
  • "Know Your Claim Status" should be selected.
  • Enter your UAN here.
  • Enter the Captcha code.
  • Provide information such as the PF office's state, the PF office's name, the establishment code, and the Provident Fund number.
  • To check the status of your EPF withdrawal, click 'Submit.'

The EPFO portal makes it very easy and quick to claim EPF online. You will only need your Universal Account Number (UAN) and a few documents to complete the process. Each action performed on the EPFO portal requires the submission of a different type of form. This makes the PF claim process easier for members.
