Earlier members had to wait for a long time to receive their provident fund amount after submitting their claim forms. But now, the employees have a facility to check and track the status of their provident fund claims online. Thus, the EPFO has made the PF transfer claim status easier.

Let's understand How to Check Provident Fund Claim Status through EPFO Website?

Steps to Check Provident Fund (PF) Claim Status via EPFO Website.

Step 1: First visit the official web portal of EPFO and go to the 'Click here for knowing the claim status' option.

Step 2: Proceed further and select the state in which your PF office is located (For Example Karnataka)

Step 3: Now after, choosing the state, several regional offices of the provident fund will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Proceed further and Select the relevant regional office based on your jurisdiction.

Step 5: After selecting the regional office, the office code and mandatory region code will get generated automatically in respective fields.

Step 6: Now Enter the Establishment Code/ID (your Organization Code) in the third box.

Note: The Establishment Code can be of maximum of seven - digits.

Step 7: If in case, the Establishment Code has an extension or a sub-code, then enter the same in the fourth box. It can either be a letter or digit as the case may be and can be maximum of 3 characters in size. If there is no extension or sub-code, then leave the field blank.

Step 8: Now enter your employee provident fund (EPF) account number in the fifth box (maximum of 7 digits).

Step 9: Proceed further and click on the "Submit" button to get the status.

Your EPF claim status will appear on the screen.
