How to link Aadhaar with Demat account?
Go to the NSDL's official website.
Now Tap on the 'Link Aadhaar with Demat Account' option.
At the end of the linking process, on the new page, click the 'Get Started' tab.
Enter the Demat account number, the account holder's name, the client ID, and the PAN number.
Enter the verification code and then Proceed.
Enter the OTP sent to registered mobile number or email ID.
For confirmation, the demat information will be displayed on the screen. If the information displayed is correct, continue with the linking process.
Once the information has been successfully verified and authenticated, the Aadhaar will be linked to the Demat account.
Furthermore, Sebi has made it mandatory for all Demat and trading account holders to have a nominee, with the deadline for adding a nominee being March 31, 2023. If investors fail to meet the deadline, their Demat account will be frozen.
