How to link Google Pay with Bank Accounts

To send money to others virtually you need to link the Google Pay account with your bank account because Google Pay is just a financial wallet. You must have a UPI PIN to link these two.

Open the Google Pay mobile app on your phone, make sure you have an internet connection. Login to your profile by putting your Google pin for Google Pay. Then at the top-right position, tap on your profile where your photo is being displayed. Click on the Bank account option. Here you can add your bank account to start transactions. Tap on the Add bank account option and select your bank. Here you will find a list of registered banks below, you need to choose from that list. You will have to verify your mobile number with the bank. After that, enter your UPI PIN correctly. Also, you can enter put your debit card information in case you do not have UPI PIN.

Make sure your bank account is linked to your existing mobile number, and you have access to that number. Do not leave the Google Pay app while the bank registration is in progress. Then the linking procedure will be disrupted, and you will have to start the procedure from the very first step. One should update the app regularly to avail of all the latest features.
