Google Pay is a smartphone application that allows users to send and receive money using their stored credit or debit card information. It can be used online or in-person, and when used in person, it makes contactless payments using near-field communications technology. You can effortlessly send and request money from your friends and family members with Google Pay. You can also use it to recharge your prepaid gadgets and pay your utility bills.
Google Pay Security
On Google's servers, it saves the user's payment credentials in an encrypted manner. While no organisation can ever guarantee complete security from a data breach, you can expect Google to go to great lengths to ensure the integrity of Google Pay.

In order to authorise a transaction, consumers must first enter into their smartphone and then separately log into the Google Pay app.
How to get a refund from Google Pay?
Refunds and unsuccessful purchases are handled by Google Pay merchants. A refund is not initiated by Google Pay. Rather, the reimbursement is handled by the company with whom you transacted.
To do so, you must call the company and give them a few transaction-related facts. Make sure you simply disclose the bare minimum of information and that you speak with the business directly.
You will receive your refund within an hour when all of the formalities have been completed. Google Pay should be able to resolve your issue within 30 days at the most. If the company fails to address your issue, you can file a complaint with Google Pay. This, however, does not guarantee a solution.
How to check pending transactions in Google Pay?
Step 1: On your phone, open Google Pay and go to the bottom of the page.
Step 2: Select 'View all payment activity from the drop-down menu.
This will bring up a list of all of your prior purchases.
Step 3: To check the status of any transaction in the list, click on it.
Step 4: If the status is still pending, click on "raise a dispute" to report the problem.
Once you've filed a complaint with Google, the matter should be resolved within 14 days.
How to raise a dispute on Google Pay?
Step 1: Log in to the Google Pay app
Step 2: Select the transaction that you want to raise a dispute.
Step 3: Please note that the Raise Dispute option will become available after two days from the transaction date.
Step 4: Click on Raise Dispute.
Step 5: Click on I Agree.
Step 6: Tap Continue.
To finish raising a dispute for your Google Pay transaction, follow the procedures on the screen.
If a payment is marked as pending, you won't be able to cancel it or take any further action. The app will display a transaction pending notice if the payment has been stalled as 'processing' for a long time. When a payment is marked as pending, it usually takes 3 to 5 days for it to become successful. The payment may appear to be 'failed' in some situations.
