How To Raise Income Tax Service Request: Refund Reissue & Avoid Delay In ITR-V Submission
Income tax is generated by the government upon a certain amount of yearly income of an earning citizen. Submitting related documents and the income tax amount is now an online/digital procedure, that has made the whole process much easier. Additionally, raising Income Tax service-related queries is also an online process now, and one can apply for it from the official Income Tax e-portal.

According to the portal, if you have received an intimation from Income Tax Department or Refund Banker (SBI) that the processing of a refund has failed, you can submit a Refund Reissue Request on the e-Filing portal. With refund reissue request service, a taxpayer can raise a request in the e-Filing portal for re-issuance of refund.
Avoid delay in submission of ITR-V
The portal informs you need to verify your Income Tax Returns within 120 days of filing. You can e-Verify your return using e-Filing OTP / Aadhaar OTP / Bank Account EVC / Demat Account EVC / Net-banking / Digital Signature Certificate; or Sending a physical copy of duly signed ITR-V to CPC, Bengaluru.
Checking the service requests status
You can check the status of the service requests in your dashboard. Navigate to the particular record where you can view the status of the approval.
Refund request failure
However, putting incorrect bank details (Account no, MICR Code, IFSC Code, Name mismatch etc.), in case the account holder's KYC is pending, if the account details are given are other than Current Account or Saving Bank Account, and if the account description is incorrect, the refund request can fail.
