How to Stop SBI Cheque Payment Using Yono App, Online and Offline?

|

A bank cheque is a written order to a bank to pay a certain amount of money to an individual or an account on demand. A cheque is only valid if it is signed by the owner of the bank account it is connected to. All the cheques are bills of exchange. But all the bills of exchange are not cheques.

Cheques are issued for a variety of purposes, but most people who operate a company use them for the majority of their transactions. When you hand someone a crossed cheque with their name, number, and signature, you're promising them the amount on a specific date. On that day, he would be able to deposit the cheque in the bank.

A completely blank cheque without your signature is less risky, and it could be needed for company purposes as proof of account information such as the account holder's name, account form, IFSC code, and MICR code.

There are occasions when we could want to cancel a cheque for a variety of reasons. Here are a few quick steps on how to put a stop payment on a cheque right away.
