Aadhaar has now taken up a vital place in our lives. For all official reasons, a 12-digit unique identification number is now necessary. An Aadhaar number is required to prove identity for everything from utilising government programmes to opening a bank account, applying for a driver's licence, getting a mobile or internet connection, and applying for jobs.

Your name, birth date, contact information, residence, and, most importantly, a 12-digit identity number are all listed on your Aadhaar card. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) periodically advises users to review their Aadhaar data and submit revisions if any updates are necessary.
The mobile number you registered with your Aadhaar number is your official contact information and it is important. However, You can update it as needed. Now that the UIDAI portal has expanded capabilities, you can easily change or add a new mobile number to your Aadhaar card.
Remember that updating a mobile number cannot be done online. You must complete it by going to the nearby Aadhaar centre. UIDAI has simplified the process by allowing owners of Aadhaar to update or link their phone numbers either online or offline. In this article, we'll describe how to alter or update your mobile number.
