Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment on Raksha Bandhan: Lakhs of women beneficiaries in Maharashtra are awaiting their Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment. The state government is set to disburse the Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment on Saturday, August 9, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, announced Maharashtra Minister of Women and Child Development Aditi S Tatkare earlier.

The Maharashtra minister had informed that tens of lakhs of women waiting for their next Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment will get the monthly amount of Rs 1,500 will receive it directly on their registered bank account.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment Date

Ladki Bahin Yojana's July instalment is expected to be released on the occasion of Rakshabandhan on 9 August, Saturday. The Maharashtra government scheme's welfare amount of Rs 1,500 will be directly disbursed among eligible beneficiaries on 9 August.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment Received? How To Check Status?

The easiest way to check the status of Ladki Bahin Yojana's instalment amount distribution is to check for any information about latest transaction on our bank account. Beneficiaries will receive an SMS from their bank about Rs 1,500 credit to their Aadhaar-linked bank account which is registered with the Ladki Bahin Yojana account.

If they don't receive any message by the end of the day, they can visit their nearest bank branch to check for any amount credited to their account.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Fraud Beneficiaries Beware!

In addition to ensuring timely distribution of the scheme welfare amount, the government is actively hunting down fake Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries. The government has tied up with other central departments to track the information of individuals registered under the scheme and check their eligibility.

Earlier, Tatkare had said in a reply at Maharashtra Assembly that Ladki Bahin Yojana (also called Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana) instalment for June month was released earlier. Additionally, lakhs of fake beneficiaries of the scheme were eliminated from the list.

The government had found that nearly thousands of women beneficiaries, with a government job, are receiving Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment. The government is actively carrying out verification drive and campaigns to identify these ineligible beneficiaries or those registered under the scheme with fake accounts and information.
