Link Aadhaar And PAN: How To Check If Aadhaar And PAN Are Linked Or Not?

The Government of India has made it mandatory for all individuals to link their PAN card to their Aadhaar card before the deadline of June 30, 2021, as failing to do so will result in the deactivation of your PAN by the Income Tax Department, and you will be unable to file Income Tax Returns, among other things. In its decision, the Supreme Court stated that citing an Aadhar card is required while filing income tax returns or seeking a new PAN. According to Section 139 AA (2) of the Income Tax Act, everybody who has a PAN as of July 1, 2017, and is eligible for Aadhaar must inform tax authorities of his Aadhaar number.

Whether you're planning to buy a car or a house, participate in the stock market, or convert your Indian rupees to foreign currency, you will need PAN for each of these activities. The Income Tax Department's Permanent Account Number (PAN) card is one of the most crucial documents in today's world.
A PAN card assists the Income-tax Authority in keeping track of all financial transactions that may be relevant to determining an individual's or company's tax obligations, as well as lowering the likelihood of tax evasion. The pan card, which contains the person's name, date of birth, and photograph, is also accepted as proof of identity.
