For the updation of NPS nominee, PFRDA has allowed subscribers the provision to update nominee through the e-sign based facility. In the current regime, NPS subscribers who wish to change the nomination need to submit S2 form in order to update their master details with the linked nodal offices or PoP.
Steps To Update Nominee In NPS Online
NPS subscribers can login into the CRA system via their credentials and under the 'demographic changes option' will need to choose "update personal details"
Then you need to choose the option as add or update nominee details
Now all of the nominee related details need to be entered including name, relationship with nominee and percentage share.
On saving the details, user for further authentication and verification needs to enter the OTP received on his or her registered mobile number.
Later, the subscriber needs to e-sign to authenticate the changes made. Here in the NPS subscriber will be take to the e-sign page of the service provider where one needs to enter the aadhaar or virtual ID and click on OTP. Then OTP shall be received on the number registered with the UIDAI. After the details are verified the same shall be updated in the PFRDA database.
