What is PM Kisan?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a new Central Sector Scheme that aims to provide income support to all landholding farmer families in the country in order to help them meet their financial demands for agricultural and allied inputs, as well as household needs. According to FAQs on the official PM Kisan website, the Government of India will bear the entire financial burden for transferring benefits to designated recipients under the Scheme.

What are the benefits of the Scheme?

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, all landholding farmers' families will receive a financial benefit of Rs.6000 per annum per household, payable in three equal instalments of Rs.2000 each every four months.

The scheme is open to all landholding farmers' families who have cultivable land holding in their names.

How to complete PM Kisan's e-KYC process online?

Step 1: Go to Prime Minister Kisan's official website and select the eKYC option. Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar Card number, captcha code, and mobile number associated with your Aadhaar card.
Step 3: Enter the OTP received. After verification, the eKYC will be completed.

How to Check the Beneficiary List for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

Step 1: Go to the PM Kisan Yojana's official website, https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'Farmers Corner' option on the homepage.
Step 3: From the Farmers Corner menu, select the Beneficiaries List option.
Step 4: From the drop-down menu, select State, District, Sub District, Block, and Village.
Step 5: Select 'Get Report'.
Step 6: A list of all beneficiaries will appear, with your name at the top.
