PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 11th Instalment: Date and Time, Amount, How To Check Status Online and Other Details

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, May 31 released Rs 21,000 crore for the 11th instalment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers. PM Narendra Modi disburses the 11th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, worth Rs 21,000 crore, at the 'Garib Kalyan Sammelan' in Shimla today as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

PM KISAN Scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December 2018. The scheme aims to provide income support to help farmers who are in need of assistance financially, subject to certain exclusions.

Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 every year is provided to eligible farmer families, payable in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

According to the government of India, this is country's largest single programme, involving nationwide deliberations in all districts, during which the Prime Minister spoke with recipients about how various central initiatives impacted their lives.

As the government of India has released the 11th Instalments, the beneficiary farmers would be eager to know if they have received the four-monthly payout under the PM Kisan scheme. To make it easy for farmers to know and check status the government has established a portal to know to status online.

A step-by-step guide to check the beneficiary status online:

Step 01: Visit the pmkisan.gov.in - the official website of PM Kisan
Step 02: Click on the tab that states Beneficiary Status in the right corner of the homepage.
Step 03: Enter your Aadhaar Number or Account Number to check the status.
Step 04: Then click on the 'Get Data' tab on the website.

After you've completed the above steps, the beneficiary's status will appear on the screen. The money will be distributed to those whose names appear on the beneficiary list.

Please Note - It's important to note that to avail of the benefits of the PM-Kisan scheme, the beneficiary will only be eligible to receive the instalment if their eKYC is done.
