PNB to Revise Charges on failed ATM Withdrawal From 1 May 2023, Check Details
According to the PNB website, Punjab National Bank will deduct fees of Rs 10 + GST on unsuccessful domestic ATM cash withdrawal operations since there are not enough funds. The fee will be implemented by the bank on May 1, 2023.
Debit card charges Revised
The bank said that it is in the process of enacting increased fees for the issuing of debit cards and prepaid cards as well as yearly maintenance fees. The bank also intends to start charging for debit card PoS and eComm transactions that are denied because there is not enough money in the account.
1) An update to the fees for issuing debit cards, prepaid cards, and annual maintenance fees.
2) In the event that a debit card transaction is refused owing to insufficient funds in the account, the bank will begin to impose fees for PoS and eComm transactions (domestic and international).
Banks already charge a fee for the creation and upkeep of debit cards. Various PNB debit card options have varying fees.

Charges levied on use of card for cash withdrawal
Customers of Punjab National Bank must pay R 10 if they use an ATM after their monthly withdrawal limit has been reached; there are five free withdrawals each month. Nonetheless, it is often charged for successful ATM withdrawals. That is applicable if you use an ATM owned by PNB.
Three metro transactions per month and five non-metro transactions per month are free if you use an ATM from another bank. After you exceed the limit, a fee of Rs 21 plus any applicable taxes will be charged for each transaction.
Guidelines for failed transactions
1. Response to complaints concerning unsuccessful ATM transactions within 7 working days of receiving them.
2. If a claim is submitted within 30 days of the transaction date, compensation of Rs. 100 per day for a delayed decision would be paid.
