• A proof of identity, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving licence etc.
• Proof of Age such as birth certificates, transcripts, etc.
• PAN card, driving licence, and Aadhaar card.
• Proof of address such as water bill, gas connection bill, electricity bill etc
• Passbook with photo

How to apply for a passport at the post office nearby

• Go to passportindia.gov.in, which is Passport Seva's official website.
• Complete and submit the online passport application.
• After submitting your application, go to the local post office where there is a Passport Seva Kendra and bring the original papers and your application print receipt with you.
• Your passport will be issued within 7 to 14 working days after the officials have successfully verified your information.

Now, you can apply for a passport in the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra without any problem but after submitting the online application it is mandatory to physically visit the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra with the print receipt and original documents.
