SBI credit cards provide reward points on all purchases and expenditures made with your card. These reward points allow you to maximise your savings by granting you access to benefits in a variety of categories such as travel, lifestyle, shopping, and so on. The reward points earned with your SBI Credit Card can be redeemed across a wide range of product categories, including Accessories, Apparels, Electronics, Entertainment, Dining, and Home Appliances. While all SBI credit cards earn reward points, each card has its own unique reward system that may vary across reward redemption value or against different redemption options such as hotel bookings, airline tickets, gift vouchers, and so on. How to earn credit card reward points?
Follow these simple steps to learn more about the rewards earning structure.
Step 1: Select your card type.
Step 2: On the left-hand side, click "Terms & Conditions."
Step 3: On the right-hand side, click the "Shop-and-Smile" reward programme.
How to check credit card reward points summary?
You can check your reward points summary in the following ways
• Referring to your most recent credit card statement or
• Logging into Chatbot ILA with your online account user ID and password and inquiring about your reward points.
• Sending SMS to 5676791 from your registered mobile number in the format of REWARDS XXXX (where XXXX stands for the last 4 digits of your card number).
• Logging in to sbicard.com > Dashboard > at the bottom, the rewards points summary and expiring rewards points are displayed.
• Using the SBI Card mobile app.
What are the options to redeem credit card Reward Points?
Reward points earned on your credit card account can be redeemed as follows:
- Gift voucher redemption can be done via sbicard.com or the SBI card mobile app. Click here to view the rewards catalogue and redeem your points.
- Cash redemption can be made by writing to us at sbicard.com/email or calling our helpline.

Will I earn Reward Points on all purchases made with my card?
You will not be able to earn Reward Points for the following charges/transactions/activities:
• Balance Transfers, Balance Transfers on EMI.
• Cash advances (Domestic and Foreign)
• Easymoney
• Encash
• ATM Withdrawals
• Financial charges
• e-Wallet loading transactions
• Purchases made at gas stations/service stations
• Any charges incurred prior to the enrollment date
• Accelerated Reward Points for merchants Metro Cash & Carry, Reliance Market, and Walmart on SBI Elite /Signature Card, SimplySAVE Card, and SBI Prime / Platinum Card under Departmental Stores and Grocery Stores & Supermarkets.
What are the redemption fees for the SBI Card?
We hereby inform you that the redemption of Reward Points will incur a charge of Rs.99.00 plus applicable taxes on your SBI Card account in the case of gift redemption and statement credit.
Can I combine my reward points from different cards or transfer them from one card account to another?
You cannot transfer or add Reward Points from one SBI Card to another. Reward points can only be redeemed on the SBI Card from which they were earned.
