SBI Customers Can Now Convert Their Purchase Into EMI Starting From Rs 52, Here's How

The SBI Card allows credit card users to convert large purchases into monthly EMI. The tenure options for EMI begin at 6-month and end at 24-month, according to information available on SBI Card's official website (sbicard.com). And even there are 9-month and 12-month tenure options too. The monthly EMI for a 24-month tenor will be Rs 51.90 per Rs 1000 purchase, while the monthly EMI for a 6-month and 12-month tenor will be Rs 177.5 and Rs 93.5, respectively. The offer is announced via Twitter by SBI Card stating that "Large payments shouldn't get in the way of making memories. Flexipay simplifies your large payments into easy installments so that you can make the memories of a lifetime!"

SBI account holders can convert their purchases into Flexipay within 30 days of the purchase, according to the SBI card's statements. Any transaction worth more than Rs 500 can also be converted to Flexipay, according to the report. The minimum booking amount, on the other hand, remains unchanged at Rs 2500. Current SBI credit cardholders can use Flexipay to break down large purchases into EMIs or Equated Monthly Installments. Any SBI cardholder who makes a purchase worth more than Rs 500 can convert it to Flexipay within 30 days. Please remember that this service is not available to overdue or blocked cardholders. To take advantage of this SBI card offer, an SBI customer can SMS FP to 56767 or call 39020202 or 18601801290 toll-free from his or her registered mobile number. By signing in to their SBI Card online account, an SBI cardholder can use the Flexipay service.
