The State Bank of India (SBI) launched a Video Life Certificate (VLC) service for pensioners, allowing them to submit their life certificate or Jeevan Pramaan without physically visiting the branch. Pensioners can schedule a video call with SBI staff according to their convenience to complete the life certificate submission process without visiting a bank branch. How to submit Video life certificate?

• Step 1: Go to the official PensionSeva website of SBI or download the PensionSeva mobile app.
• Step 2: At the top of the website, click on the 'VideoLC' link. From the landing page of the application, select the 'Video Life Certificate' option.
• Step 3: Enter the account number where your pension is deposited. Then enter the captcha and check the box to give the bank permission to use your Aadhaar details.
• Step 4: After clicking the 'Validate Account' button, an OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• Step 5: Upload the required certificates and click the Proceed button.
• Step 6: On the new page, follow the instructions to schedule a video call appointment. You will receive confirmation via SMS and email.
• Step 7: After giving your consent, join the video call as scheduled.
• Step 8: During the phone call with the bank official, you will be required to read out a verification code and show your PAN card.
• Step 9: Hold the camera steady after verification to allow the bank official to capture your face.
• Step 10: At the end of the session, a message will confirm that your information has been recorded. Pensioners will be notified via SMS of the status of their Video
