Subhadra Yojana Instalment Released in Odisha! How To Check Status?

The latest instalment of the Odisha government's welfare scheme, Subhadra Yojana, has been released for the eligible beneficiaries. Women registered under the scheme will receive Rs 5,000 through direct benefit transfer (DBT).

The state government announced that it has disbursed more than Rs 5,160 crore to 1.03 crore women under the fifth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana. Here are all the details about the welfare scheme's instalment.

Subhadra Yojana Instalment Amount

Women who have registered under the scheme will receive Rs 10,000 annually in two installments. As per the government announcement, registered beneficiaries will receive Rs 5,000 this time on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The second instalment of Subhadra Yojana will be out on International Women's Day.

How To Check Subhadra Yojana Payment Status?

Beneficiaries will receive the fresh instalment through direct benefit transfer (DBT). Beneficiaries can check their bank account statement, passbook or transaction alerts to confirm the Rs 5,000 credit.

If you can't find any update on Subhadra Yojana instalment, then it is better to wait for 1-2 days more to receive the welfare scheme amount. If you still do not receive any update, then you can check bank account statement, passbook or transaction alerts for any information related to the instalment.

About Subhadra Yojana

The women welfare scheme was launched on September 17, 2024. The state government has positioned it as a key financial assistance scheme for eligible women. The state government has signed six Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) to boost digital agriculture and armer livelihoods. These agreements include a partnership with the Department of Posts to use its network of Gramin Dak Sevaks for farmer registration and digital services. The MoU aso includes other schemes and services like AGriStack enrolment, CM Kisan registration, PM Kisan e-KYC, etc.

Under the SUBHADRA scheme, all eligible beneficiaries between the age of 21-60 years would receive Rs. 50,000/- over a period of 5 years between 2024-25 to 2028-29. An amount of Rs 10,000/- per annum in two equal installments will be credited directly to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled bank account. On this historic occasion, the Prime Minister initiated the fund transfer into the bank accounts of more than 10 lakh women.

While launching the scheme in September 2024, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation Railway Projects worth more than Rs. 2800 crores in Bhubaneswar.
