Telangana SIR 2026 Deadline: How to Fill and Submit the Enumeration Form Online; Check Step-by-Step Guide

The SIR in Telangana of electoral rolls is now moving towards its final stretch, and lakhs of voters across the state have already submitted their enumeration forms and those who have not must do it before the extended deadline.

Telangana SIR 2026 Details

The Special Intensive Revision exercise is being run by the Election Commission of India to clean up and update electoral rolls.
This is a national affair and is being carried out in every other state. The goal is to make sure every eligible citizen is correctly listed as a voter, while removing duplicate, outdated, or incorrect entries.

The preliminary work for the Telangana SIR began from June 15 till June 24th. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) then began door-to-door verification on June 25, going house to house to collect and confirm voter details.

Earlier July 24th was the original date for completing house-to-house enumeration. Which was then moved to August 3rd. Currently, the August 10th deadline has been set.

After this final extension, the draft electoral roll is now expected to be published on August 17.

How to Fill and Submit the Enumeration Form

There are two ways in which voters can complete their enumeration, First One is online through the ECI's portal and the other one is offline through their local BLO.

Submit the Enumeration Form Online Method: Step By Step

Step 1: First visit the official portal at voters.eci.gov.in.

Step 2: then you can Log in or register using your details.

Step 3: Next Up you select the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) service, then choose Telangana as your state.

Step 4: You'll then have to authenticate yourself using your registered mobile number or EPIC which is the Voter ID number and verify via an OTP.

Step 5: Also if you were part of the earlier electoral roll, your basic details should already be mentioned over there.

Step 6: You must then review and correct your information like the name, address, age, and family details and update anything that has changed.

Step 7: You'll also be required to upload supporting documents, such as proof of identity, address, or age.

Step 8: Submit the form and save your acknowledgement number as a proof of submission and can be used to track status later.

Submit the Enumeration Form Offline Method

In the offline method the BLO will visit your address and provide you with a physical enumeration form, you can fill it out and return it to them directly. There's no need to also apply online in this case..
