UIDAI: List of Aadhaar Seva Kendras In India

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has established 55 Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASK) as of now, as part of an effort to install 166 Aadhaar Seva Kendras in 122 cities throughout India. In addition, there are around 52,000 Aadhaar enrolment centres maintained by banks, post offices, state governments, and other Registrars, and more than 70 lakh individuals have been served by these ASKs, said UIDAI in a statement issued on 22nd October 2021.

There are three models of ASKs: Model-A has a capacity to handle up to 1,000 enrolments/update requests per day; Model-B upto 500 enrolments/update requests per day; and Model C upto 250 enrolments/update requests per day. These ASKs are operational from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They are closed on public holidays. All these centers are air-conditioned, designed with adequate seating capacity and also Divyang friendly, according to UIDAI.

While Aadhaaar Enrolment and mandatory biometric updates are free, a nominal charge of Rs. 50 is payable for demographic updates and Rs.100/- for biometric Updates (with or without Demographic updates).
