Gold prices in India recovered sharply after a volatile week, with the 24K gold rate climbing Rs 2940 per 10 gram yesterday, June 12 across major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad.

A lot of fluctuation was seen in gold rates through this week. The metal opened at Rs 15,169 per gram on June 8 before slipping slightly on June 9 to Rs. 15,316, briefly touching the week's highest point.

A sharp correction took place with gold prices falling to Rs. 14,777 on June 10 and further declining to Rs. 14,564 on June 11. However, gold rates made a strong comeback on June 12, jumping Rs. 294 per gram to settle at Rs. 14,858 for 24K, due to renewed bullion buying interest after the drop in prices.

Gold Rate at Tanishq Today

At the Tanishq stores across India, the 24K gold price is at Rs.14,907 per gram and 18K gold at Rs. 11,180 per gram. The 22K gold rate at Tanishq stands at Rs. 13,665 per gram, unchanged from yesterday's closing price. Tanishq gold rates are applicable across all its stores in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and other major cities. However, making charges are applied separately and vary by design and store.

Gold Rate at Malabar Gold & Diamonds Today

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the largest jewellery retail chains in India and the Middle East, has listed its gold rates for today. The 24K gold rate at Malabar Gold & Diamonds is Rs. 14,858 per gram while the 22K gold rate stands at Rs. 13,620 per gram.

Gold Rate at Kalyan Jewellers Today

At Kalyan Jewellers the 22K gold price is listed at Rs. 13,620 per gram today in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kochi, and other tier-2 cities.

Gold Rate at Joyalukkas Today

The 24K gold rate at Joyalukkas stands at Rs. 14,858 per gram, 22K gold is priced at Rs. 13,620 per gram, and 18K gold is available at Rs. 11,144 per gram. The Joyalukkas gold rates are applicable across India including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kochi.

IBJA Gold Rate Today

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) is the benchmark body for gold and silver rates in India. As per IBJA, the pure gold or the 24K gold is priced at Rs. 1,47,800 per 10 grams, 22K gold rate today is at Rs. 1,35,385 per 10 grams while the 18K gold rate stands at ₹1,10,850 per 10 grams.

Gold Price Outlook Ahead

"Gold and silver rebounded sharply after touching January lows as optimism over an imminent US-Iran peace deal eased inflation and rate-hike concerns. Oil prices fell, pressuring the US dollar, while the ECB hiked rates for the first time since 2023 and US producer prices rose 6.5% year-on-year in May," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director, RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd. and President, India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.

He further added that gold has strong support around the $4,000 to 4,100 range and could climb toward $4,300 tp 4,330, roughly Rs 1,55,000 per 10 grams in the near term. Silver, similarly, is eyeing a move toward $70 to 71, which is approximately Rs 2,55,000 per kg, if the current momentum holds.
