Meanwhile, situation in the West Asia remains tensed as the crude oil price remained close to $80 per barrel mark.

The price of 24 karat gold in Bangalore fell by Rs 28 per gram to Rs 14,329 per gram, as per Goodreturns data at 10:35 am on Thursday, July 16. The price of 22-karat gold in Bangalore declined by Rs 25 per gram to Rs 13,135 per gram. Likewise, the rate of 18-karat gold in Bangalore fell by Rs 20 per gram to Rs 10,747 per gram.

The price of silver in Bangalore remained unchanged on Thursday. The silver rate in Bangalore today stood at Rs 235 per gram and Rs 2,35,000 per kilogram on Thursday. The price of international gold saw a marginal decline on Thursday. As per Trading Economics data, international gold rate today fell towards $4,000 per ounce. The recent dip in international gold prices came as US-Iran tensions intensified the situation in West Asia. The US carried out additional strikes against Iran on Wednesday, however, US President Donald Trump said that Iran has expressed willingness to resume negotiations.
