Bangalore Gold Rate Today, June 21: Prices Pause On Sunday: Check 24k,22k,18k Gold Prices On Weekend

After a volatile week, Bangalore gold rate today made no major movements on Sunday. While domestic prices were stable, the global outlook for the yellow metal remains cautious as investors weigh the US Federal Reserve's hawkish stance on interest rates.

Bangalore Gold Rate Today

The 24-carat gold rate climbed to a weekly high of Rs.15,153 per gram on June 15, but declined steadily over the next few sessions, slipping to Rs. 14,586 per gram on June 19. However, prices recovered marginally on June 20 and remained unchanged on June 21 at Rs. 14,608 per gram.

Similarly, 22-carat gold fell from Rs.13,890 per gram on June 15 to Rs. 13,370 per gram on June 19, before edging up to Rs. 13,390 per gram, where it held steady on June 21.

Silver Prices in Bangalore

Silver prices also stayed unchanged in the city today, and those who want to buy 1 kg silver need to pay Rs. 2,50,000. Meanwhile, 100 grams of silver is retailing at Rs. 25,000.

Gold & Silver Futures

With the MCX closed on Saturday & Sunday, bullion prices showed the losses recorded in the previous session. Gold futures with August 3 expiry settled 1.39% lower at Rs. 1,47,239 per 10 grams, while silver futures with July 3 expiry fell 2.04% to Rs. 2,32,736 per kg.

Spot Gold Prices

Gold fell to $4,150 per ounce on Friday, its lowest level since June 11, and was on track for a third consecutive weekly decline as a stronger US dollar and rising expectations for tighter monetary policy weighed on demand. The dollar climbed to a one-year high after the Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged but signaled a more hawkish outlook. Adding to the bearish sentiment, Goldman Sachs lowered its year-end gold price forecast to $4,900 per ounce from $5,400 previously" as per Trading Economics.
