Delhi Gold Rate Today Jumps as Global Bullion Heads for Weekly Loss; Latest 22K, 24K, 18K Gold & Silver Prices

Domestic gold rates have bounced back strongly after four consecutive sessions of losses. Gold rates in Delhi extended their rally for the second straight day on Friday, taking the total gain over the last two sessions to Rs 167 per gram for 24 Karat (24K) gold. On July 10, 24K gold climbed Rs 36 to Rs 14,495 per gram, while 22 Karat (22K) gold rose Rs 35 to Rs 13,290 per gram.

Silver prices also moved higher on Friday. In Delhi, silver gained Rs 5,000 per kilogram to reach Rs 2,40,000 per kg, or Rs 240 per gram, adding to the positive momentum in the domestic precious metals market.

However, the trend in the international market remained subdued. Gold prices edged lower on Friday and were on track for a weekly decline, as investors assessed the impact of escalating US-Iran tensions, which have raised concerns that higher oil prices could fuel inflation and force the US Federal Reserve to keep interest rates higher for longer.

Spot gold slipped 0.1% to $4,115.79 an ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery fell 0.4% to $4,124.90.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

The price of 24 Karat gold in Delhi today stands at Rs 14,495 per gram, up Rs 36 from the previous session. Buyers will have to pay Rs 1,15,960 for 8 grams, Rs 1,44,950 for 10 grams, and Rs 14,49,500 for 100 grams. The precious metal has now extended its recovery for the second straight day after falling for four consecutive sessions.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

The price of 22 Karat gold in the national capital has also moved higher. It is currently priced at Rs 13,290 per gram, gaining Rs 35. The rate for 8 grams stands at Rs 1,06,320, while 10 grams costs Rs 1,32,900. Buyers looking to purchase 100 grams of 22K gold will have to pay Rs 13,29,000.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

Meanwhile, 18 Karat gold is trading at Rs 10,877 per gram, up Rs 29 from the previous close. The price of 8 grams has increased to Rs 87,016, while 10 grams is available at Rs 1,08,770. The rate for 100 grams of 18K gold has climbed to Rs 10,87,700 after a gain of Rs 2,900.

The silver rate in Delhi has moved higher today, with 1 gram priced at Rs 240, up Rs 5 from yesterday's Rs 235. The rate for 8 grams has increased to Rs 1,920 by Rs 40, while 10 grams now costs Rs 2,400 (+Rs 50). Meanwhile, 100 grams of silver is available at Rs 24,000, reflecting a gain of Rs 500, and the 1 kg silver rate has climbed to Rs 2,40,000, up Rs 5,000 from the previous session.

Despite recent strikes and retaliation between the US and Iran, peace talks are set to continue, offering some relief.
