Gold prices in New Delhi slipped on Tuesday, 26 May, after witnessing gains in the previous trading session amid rising geopolitical tensions and volatility in global commodity markets. The latest gold rates in Delhi stood at Rs 15,904 per gram for 24 Karat (24K) gold, down Rs 49, while 22 Karat (22K) gold eased by Rs 45 to Rs 14,580 per gram.

In the previous session, gold prices had moved higher, with 24K gold rising by Rs 32 to Rs 15,953 per gram and 22K gold climbing Rs 30 to Rs 14,625 per gram, supported by safe-haven demand.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged for the fifth consecutive day. Silver in India continued to trade at Rs 285 per gram and Rs 2,85,000 per kilogram.

The decline in gold prices comes as fresh US-Iran strikes weakened hopes of a near-term peace breakthrough, while renewed conflict concerns pushed crude oil prices and fuel-related inflation risks higher. Investors are closely tracking geopolitical developments, as escalating tensions in West Asia continue to influence global commodity and precious metal markets.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
The latest 24K gold price in New Delhi stood at Rs 15,904 per gram on Tuesday, 26 May, down Rs 49 from the previous session. For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24K gold were priced at Rs 1,27,232 after a decline of Rs 392, while 10 grams cost Rs 1,59,040, lower by Rs 490. The price of 100 grams of 24K gold slipped sharply by Rs 4,900 to Rs 15,90,400.
22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
Meanwhile, 22K gold prices also moved lower in the national capital. The rate for 22K gold stood at Rs 14,580 per gram, down Rs 45. For 8 grams, the price came to Rs 1,16,640 after a fall of Rs 360, while 10 grams of 22K gold were valued at Rs 1,45,800, down Rs 450. On a bulk scale, 100 grams of 22K gold were priced at Rs 14,58,000, reflecting a decline of Rs 4,500.
18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi
In the 18K category, gold prices eased to Rs 11,932 per gram, marking a decline of Rs 32. The price for 8 grams of 18K gold stood at Rs 95,456 after slipping Rs 256, while 10 grams were priced at Rs 1,19,320, down Rs 320. The rate for 100 grams of 18K gold declined by Rs 3,200 to Rs 11,93,200.
Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gram on May 26, 2026
Silver prices in Delhi remained unchanged on Tuesday, 26 May, extending their steady trend for the fifth consecutive day amid cautious movement in global precious metal markets.
The price of silver stood at Rs 285 per gram, unchanged from the previous session. Accordingly, 8 grams of silver were priced at Rs 2,280, while 10 grams continued to trade at Rs 2,850, with no change recorded in daily rates.
For larger quantities, 100 grams of silver remained stable at Rs 28,500. Meanwhile, 1 kilogram of silver continued to be priced at Rs 2,85,000 in the national capital, maintaining the same level as the previous trading day.
"The positive sentiment in the market was further bolstered by easing crude oil prices, with WTI crude holding steady at $96.60 per barrel (about Rs 9,190 per barrel)," said Gaurav Garg, research analyst at Lemonn markets desk.
