Drop in Delhi Gold, Silver Rates Today on 6 July Continues After Strong Recovery; Latest 22K, 24K & 18K Prices
Gold prices in Delhi began the new week on a weaker note after witnessing a sharp recovery in the previous sessions. The price of 24 Karat (24K) gold slipped by Rs 11 to Rs 14,677 per gram, while 22K gold declined by Rs 10 to Rs 13,455 per gram. 18K gold also edged lower by Rs 8, with the metal retailing at Rs 11,012 per gram.
Silver prices also softened on Monday. In Delhi, silver was trading at Rs 245 per gram and Rs 2,45,000 per kilogram, reflecting a decline from the previous session.
In the international market, US gold prices hovered near a two-week high despite the slight weakness in domestic bullion rates. The precious metal continued to find support after weaker-than-expected US jobs data released last week reduced expectations of aggressive interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve, boosting demand for safe-haven assets.
