Eye-popping Crash In Gold Rates Of Hyderabad By Rs 78,500; 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices Today (25-06-2026)

Gold rates in India crashed for three consecutive days on June 25, due to stronger dollar and rates hike fear. In some cities like Hyderabad, gold prices have nosedived by Rs 78,500 from June 23rd to June 25th. Thursday alone marked one of the worst single-day performances for precious metals in June 2026. Overall, 24 carat, 22 carat and 18 carat gold prices have dropped more than 10% in June alone.

Gold Rates In Hyderabad:

On June 25, 2026, 24 carat gold price has dropped by Rs 27,800 in 100 grams to Rs 14,01,300, while 10 grams gold plunged by Rs 2,780 to Rs 1,40,130. Further, 8 grams gold is down by Rs 2,224 to RS 1,12,104 and 1 gram gold is lower by Rs 278 to RS 14,013.

The price of 22 carat gold plunges by Rs 25,500 to Rs 12,84,500 per 100 grams, dropped by Rs 2,550 to Rs 1,28,450 per 10 grams, declined by RS 2,040 to Rs 1,02,760 per 8 grams and dipped by Rs 255 to Rs 12,845 per 1 gram.

Under 18 carat, 100 grams gold price crumbled by Rs 20,800 to Rs 10,51,000, while 10 grams gold dropped by Rs 2,080 to Rs 1,05,100 and 8 grams gold tumbled by Rs 1,664 to Rs 84,080. Lastly, 1 gram gold is down by Rs 208 to Rs 10,510.

From June 23rd to June 25th, 24 carat gold price has crashed by Rs 78,500 in 100 grams and crumbled by Rs 7,850 in 10 grams. Overall, in June 2026 so far, gold is down by over 10%.

What Is Impacting Gold Prices In India?

As per Axis Securities report, the sharp fall was driven by a stronger U.S. dollar and rising expectations of further Federal Reserve interest rate hikes, which weighed on investor sentiment and reduced the appeal of non-yielding assets such as gold.
