Gold Rate Rally in Bangalore Today: 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices Surge on Sept 4; Check Latest Prices

Gold prices made a strong comeback on Thursday, July 2, after recording a sharp decline on the previous day. The rally in gold rate today is due to a rebound in international gold prices as the US dollar and Treasury yields fell sharply.

According to Trading Economics "Gold traded near $4,500 an ounce on Friday after rising for two consecutive sessions, as dovish comments from Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller led markets to scale back expectations for a September rate hike. Waller said he would favor keeping rates unchanged if price pressures continue to ease."

Gold Rate Rally in Bangalore Today

Carrying forward to the global trend, 24-carat gold prices in India surged by Rs. 46,640 per 100 grams, while 22-carat and 18-carat gold rates also recorded huge gains across major cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

On 4th of September, the 22-carat gold rates in Bangalore today surged sharply by Rs. 1200 to cost Rs.1,43,600. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold now retails for Rs.1,56,600 per 10 grams, which spiked by Rs.1310.Just like that, 18-carat gold rates in Bangalore also jumped by Rs.980 to retail at Rs.1,17,490 per 10 grams.

Silver Rate In Bangalore Today

Silver Prices in Bangalore today are largely stable after a sharp jump seen yesterday where the prices surged by Rs. 5000 per kg. As of today, silver prices in Bangalore are available at Rs. 2,50,000 per Kg.

Gold Future Price On MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures for October 5th, 2026, delivery are trading in the red down by 0.39% at Rs. 1,55,173 per 10 grams. Similarly, the silver futures for the September 4th expiry are also declining today by 0.60%, trading at Rs. 2,40,899 per kg.

Spot Gold And Silver Trends In The Market

According to an ICICI Commodity Report, "Spot gold and silver prices gained more than 2% yesterday amid correction in US dollar and treasury yields. Further, dovish comments from Fed Governor Waller also cooled rate hike bets and supported bullion prices to trade higher."

"Spot Gold is expected to hold above $4,400 and extend its rebound toward $4,680 level, driven by a pullback in U.S. dollar and global treasury yields. Furthermore, easing concerns of monetary tightening after dovish comments from Fed members and a pause in crude oil price rally should ease rate hike bets and support bullion prices. " it further added.
