Gold Price Analysis
"Gold and silver held onto most of last week's rally despite Friday's profit-taking, as a weak July payrolls report and soft CPI fed a disinflation narrative before Thursday's stronger core PPI pushed September rate-hike odds back to 40%. The Strait of Hormuz standoff continued weighing on sentiment, with Trump rejecting Iranian compensation demands and Brent's swings pressuring the rupee." said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA and Chairman at Jain International Trade Organisation.
"The Dollar Index stayed rangebound between 99.4 and 99.9, squeezed between its key moving averages. CME FedWatch now shows just a 30% hike probability, down from 47%. Gold sits below $4,450-4,460 resistance; silver holds above $63 support, with Jackson Hole as the next catalyst," he further added.
