Gold Rate Today in Hyderabad & Chennai: Check Today's 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices After Fresh Drop

Gold prices plunged on Wednesday, June 17, with 24-carat gold declining by Rs. 320 per 10 grams compared to the previous session. The yellow metal has now recorded its second consecutive day of losses after a sustained rally. The latest dip has made gold slightly more affordable for consumers in major cities, including Chennai and Hyderabad.

According to live spot price data from goldprice.org, "Spot gold fell by $6.66 or 0.15% to $4,327.94 per ounce at the time of writing. Silver prices surged, rising 0.42% to $70.23 per ounce.

Gold Rate Today In Hyderabad

On June 17, the 24 carat gold rate in Hyderabad dropped by Rs. 270 per 10 grams to Rs. 1,51,100. At the same time, 22-carat gold prices declined by Rs.250 taking the rate to Rs. 1,38,500 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold in Hyderabad also saw a fall of Rs. 210 and is now priced at Rs. 1,13,320 per 10 grams.

Gold Rate Today In Chennai

Gold prices in Chennai also recorded a sharp decline on June 17 across all major purity categories. The 24-carat gold price fell by Rs. 320 per 10 grams to Rs. 1,53,060, while 22-carat gold rate today dropped by Rs. 300 and is now priced at Rs. 1,40,300 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the 18-carat gold rate in Chennai also slipped by Rs. 400, taking the rate to Rs. 1,17,500 per 10 grams.

Gold Price Outlook Ahead

"Gold traded firm above $4,300 per ounce as expectations of a U.S.-Iran peace agreement eased energy-driven inflation concerns, while investors remained cautious ahead of key central bank policy decisions this week. For today's session, the outlook remains cautiously positive with immediate support placed at 151,150. At the same time, 153,850- 154,250 is likely to act as the resistance zone. " as per Abhishek M Pelu, Research Analyst, Way to Wealth.

Silver Prices in Chennai + Hyderabad

Unlike Gold Prices, Silver rates in both Chennai & Hyderabad stayed unchanged after a fall of Rs. 5,000, and they currently stand at Rs. 2,75,000 per Kg. Similarly, the price for 100 grams of silver costs Rs. 27,500.

Gold And Silver Future Price On MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures for June 5th delivery are trading lower today by 0.32%, at Rs. 1,57,105 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver futures for the July 3rd expiry fell sharply today, experiencing losses of 1.17%, trading around Rs. 2,67,450 at the time of writing.
