The rise in gold rate today is visible across major retail jewellery chains as well, with Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers and Joyalukkas all keeping higher gold rates today compared to Thursday's close.

At Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the 22k gold rate today is available at Rs. 1,32,550 per gram, while the 24k gold rate is at Rs. 1,44,600 per gram. The 18k gold rate at Malabar today works out to approximately Rs. 10,845 per gram.
