The 24K gold price today stands at Rs. 1,40,022 per 10 grams, while the 22K gold price is Rs. 1,28,260 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the 18K gold rate today has been fixed at Rs. 1,05,016 per 10 grams.

"Gold and silver are extending their losses despite the US-Iran ceasefire, as three converging factors continue to weigh on the precious metals market: an AI stock-led risk-off selloff, a hawkish US Federal Reserve pushing the probability of a December 2026 rate hike to 86%, and the unwinding of the yen carry trade as USD/JPY hits a 40-year low," said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director, RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President, IBJA, and Chairman, Jain International Trade Organisation.

"Technically, gold has broken below the $4,000 support level (around Rs. 1,40,000), with downside risk extending towards $3,600 (around Rs. 1,30,000). Silver has also slipped below the $60 level (around Rs. 2,20,000) and could test $50 (around Rs. 2,00,000). However, oversold indicators suggest that short-covering rallies are possible in the near term," he added.
