Mumbai Gold Rate Today: The price of 24 karat, 22 karat and 18 karat gold in Mumbai staged a sharp rebound on Tuesday, June 9. In contrast, silver rate today in Mumbai remained unchanged. The sharp uptick in gold prices came despite the Indian Rupee's strong opening in Tuesday's trade.

The recent surge in gold prices in Mumbai and across India mirrored the rebound in international gold prices after Iran and Israel agreed to pause attacks. For investors and gold jewellery buyers in Mumbai, Tuesday's jump has weakened hopes of price corrections in the coming days. Here are latest details about gold rate today, June 9.

Mumbai Gold Rate Today

The price of 24 karat gold in Mumbai surged by Rs 147 per gramt to Rs 15,316 per gram, as per Goodreturns data at 11 am on Tuesday, June 9. Which means that per 10 gram of 24 karat gold in Mumbai increased by Rs 1470 and per 100 gram of 24 karat gold became costlier by Rs 14,700.

The price of 22 karat gold in Mumbai increased by Rs 135 per gram to Rs 14,040 per gram. The rate of 18 karat gold in Mumbai surged by Rs 110 per gram to Rs 11,487 per gram.

"Moving forward, buyers should take advantage of these short-term dips to slowly add to gold positions as it remains a reliable safe-haven asset. Prices in the near term are likely to remain volatile ahead of upcoming US inflation data and Federal Reserve updates, but gold continues to be a critical long-term hedge against inflation," Rajkumar Subramanian, Head - Product & Family Office, PL Wealth, commented on Monday's crash.

Mumbai Silver Rate Today

The price of silver in Mumbai remained unchanged on Tuesday. Silver rate today in Mumbai stood at Rs 260 per gram and at Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram. Silver has showcased rangebound movement over the past few months after seeing massive surge in January followed by significant crash in February.
