Second Straight Fall In Gold Rate Today: 24K, 22k, 18k Price Plunges In Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai, Sep 27

The gold rate today edged lower on Tuesday, 29 September as 24 karat prices slipped sharply by Rs 1370 per 10 gram compared to the previous session. The Yellow metal underwent another major drop for the second consecutive time this week making gold a little affordable in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

Gold in the global market also traded near $4,100 per ounce after falling by 4% in the previous session due to rising geopolitical tensions and a stronger US dollar, leading to sharp volatility in bullion rates. As per trading economics,"Treasury yields climbed to fresh multi-year highs amid growing inflation concerns and expectations of further rate hikes, weighing on non-yielding assets such as gold."

Gold Rate Today In Bangalore

On September 29, the 22-carat gold rate in Bangalore plunged by Rs.1250 per 10 grams, now costing Rs. 1,36,400. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold saw a drop of Rs.1370, bringing its price to Rs. 1,48,800. Similarly, 18-carat gold prices in Bangalore decreased by Rs. 1030 and are now priced at Rs. 1,11,600 per 10 grams.

Gold Rate Today In Hyderabad

On September 29, the 22-carat gold rate in Hyderabad dropped sharply by Rs.1250 per 10 grams to Rs. 1,36,400. At the same time, 24-carat gold prices declined by Rs.1370, taking the rate to Rs. 1,48,800 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold in Hyderabad also witnessed a fall of Rs.1030 and is now priced at Rs. 1,11,600 per 10 grams.

Gold Rate Today In Chennai

Gold prices in Chennai also recorded a sharp decline on September 29 across all major purity categories. The 24-carat gold price fell by Rs.280 per 10 grams to Rs. 1,48,800. while 22-carat gold rate today dropped by Rs. 250 and is now priced at Rs. 1,36,400 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the 18-carat gold rate in Chennai also slipped by Rs. 250, taking the rate to Rs. 1,14,100 per 10 grams.

Silver Prices in Bangalore + Chennai + Hyderabad

Unlike Gold Prices, white metal rates in Bangalore stayed unchanged. and it currently stands at Rs. 2,40,000 per Kg. Similarly, the price for 100 grams of silver costs Rs. 24,000.

However silver rates in both chennai & hyderabad declined By Rs. 5000 per Kg today Silver rate in Hyderabad & chennai today are retailing at Rs. 2,40,000 per kg & Rs. 24,000 per 100 grams.
