Sharp Drop in Delhi Gold Rates by Rs 75,200 in 2 Days; 24K Gold Today Near Six-Month Low After 2% Global Fall
Gold rate today remained under heavy pressure on June 11, 2026, extending their losing streak for the second straight session as global market uncertainty and expectations around U.S. inflation data kept investors cautious. The weakness in international bullion prices has directly weighed on domestic rates, pulling gold closer to six-month lows.
Gold Rate Slips to Six-Month Lows; Drop of Rs 75,200 in Just 2 Days

Despite the weakness in gold, silver prices in Delhi remained stable. The metal was quoted at Rs 250 per gram and Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram, indicating steady demand even as gold witnessed pressure.
2% Drop in Gold Rate, Hitting Lowest Since May 2026
The overall decline comes as investors wait for a key U.S. inflation report, which is expected to provide fresh cues on the Federal Reserve's interest rate path. In global markets, gold slipped nearly 2% on Wednesday, hitting its lowest level since early May and moving below pre-duty-hike levels after a sharp correction in bullion prices.

Technically, gold has broken $4,300 (~ Rs 1,54,000) support, targeting $4,000-$4,100, while silver's breach of $66 (~ Rs 2,40,000) opens a move toward $60 (~ Rs 2,15,000)," Prithviraj Kothari, MD at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA.
