The AIM Congress is being held from September 7 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. More than 20,000 delegates from over 180 countries are expected to participate in the event, which brings together government representatives, investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and businesses.
Yadav's Dubai programme includes participation in the invitation-only 'Tycoons' programme, which is expected to bring together around 500 representatives from sovereign wealth funds, family offices and major business groups.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet representatives of companies and business groups including DP World, VFS Global, Emaar, Choithrams, Sharaf Group and KGK Group. The discussions are expected to cover investment possibilities in sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, infrastructure, tourism and food processing.
Yadav is attending AIM Congress at the invitation of Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade and President of AIM Congress.
Focus On GIS 2027
The Dubai visit is also linked to preparations for Madhya Pradesh's Global Investors Summit 2027, which is scheduled to be held in Bhopal. The state government is using the international platform to present investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and hold discussions with potential investors ahead of the summit.
A Madhya Pradesh pavilion and an ODOP (One District One Product) display are also part of the state's participation at the event.
Agriculture And Food Processing
Food and agriculture are among the sectors being highlighted during the visit. The UAE relies heavily on food imports, creating a potential market for agricultural commodities and processed food products.
Madhya Pradesh is among India's leading agricultural producers. According to the state's Economic Survey 2025-26, the state ranks first in pulse production and maize production and is among the country's leading wheat-producing states. Madhya Pradesh also accounts for a significant share of India's soybean production.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali M.A. Discussions are expected to include opportunities related to agricultural products and food processing.
What Madhya Pradesh Is Seeking
The state government's investment outreach in Dubai is focused on identifying potential investors and developing business partnerships across sectors.
The immediate outcome of the meetings will depend on subsequent discussions between investors and the state government. Any investment proposals or agreements emerging from the Dubai visit would need to move through the relevant government and corporate processes.
The AIM Congress meetings are therefore being positioned as part of Madhya Pradesh's wider investor outreach ahead of GIS 2027, rather than as an immediate indication of investment commitments.
