On 27th June 2009 Axis Mutual Fund has been inaugurated as a trust incommensurate with the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 as a sponsor with Axis Bank Limited and Axis Mutual Fund Trustee Limited as the Trustee to the Mutual Fund.
The undertaking of the trust has been registered pursuant to the Indian Registration Act 1908. On September 04, 2009 under Registration Code MF-/061/09/02 the mutual fund was registered with the SEBI. With the service portfolio of over 50 schemes and operations in more than 75 cities, Axis Mutual Fund has been able to reach over 7.5 lac shareholders over the past 5 years. The service partners played a crucial role concerning the development of Axis Mutual Fund.
Axis Mutual Fund is endorsed by Axis Bank Limited. The sponsor is the colonel of the Trust of the Mutual Fund. Axis Mutual Fund Trustee Limited was assigned by the sponsor to make the initial donation to the mutual fund corpus of Rs 1 lac. Axis Asset Management Company Limited has concluded an agreement with MF Utilities India Private Limited a category II – Registrar for Issues under the SEBI Regulations (Registrars for Issue and Share Transfer Agents) 1993 for the use of MF utility as a mutual facilities project of multiple Asset Management Companies which comply as a transaction tracking gateway for single transaction instrument.
The Bank was launched in 1993 in-cooperation with Specified Unit Trust of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, General Insurance Corporation of India, National Insurance Company Limited, The New India Assurance Company Limited, The Oriental Insurance Company Limited and United Insurance Company Limited.
Axis Asset Management Company is a public limited company registered on 13th January 2009 under the Companies Act of 1956. The Trustee Vide Investment Management Agreement of 27th June 2009 named Axis AMC named as the investment manager of the Axis Mutual Fund and implemented between the Trustee and the AMC. Under the SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 1993. the AMC received a Certification of Registration as Portfolio Manager, INP000003534 as of 4th January 2010. What is the amount you will get after redemption?
Calculating the approximate value of your assets is a simple process. It can be done by multiplying the number of units you hold on the day with that day’s NAV of that particular scheme. Exit load, if any for the scheme and applicable NAV, ' i.e., the NAV based on the date and time you submit your request for redemption. Of instance, you have the right to receive the NAV on the same day before the cut off time of the business day. The proceeds of redemption are paid within 1 to 2 working days for liquid or debt-oriented units. The amount will be paid in 4-5 working days for equity mutual funds. The proceeds of redemption shall be paid to the registered bank account of the investor provided that the bank branch is allowed for RTGS / NEFT. In case, if there are no bank details in the fund house, cheques will be forwarded to the investor.
Load charges that you have to pay on redemption
Generally, most equity-oriented plans have a 1% redemption fee if they are withdrawn from acquisition within one year. There are some strategies that have no withdrawal fee on liquid or ultra-short-term funds Therefore if you keep a joint-equity fund and plan to redeem it before one year, a withdrawal fee will be removed from the NAV paid for per unit for your redemption.
How do you get your redemption proceed?
The redemption proceeds are charged to the bank account of the investor given that the investor is received the IFSC code of the bank and branch is allowed for RTGS NEFT. If the fund house does not have full bank details, the investor will be sent cheques.
